10 Beginner Tips on How to Play Rocket League

Are you new to Rocket League? If so, you’ve come to the right place! Here are 10 beginner tips that will help you get started and become a top goal scorer.

  1. Adjust your camera settings – The camera settings in Rocket League can make or break your game. Make sure you adjust the settings to fit your playing style and preferences.
  2. Remap your controls – You don’t have to stick with the default control scheme. Take some time to remap your controls so they are comfortable for you.
  3. Get in position fast with the half-flip – The half-flip is a great way to quickly get into position without using up too much of your boost.
  4. Use every bit of boost – Don’t waste any of your boost! Make sure you use it wisely and always be aware of how much boost you have left.
  5. Don’t go for aerials – Aerials can be tricky and often lead to mistakes, so it’s best to avoid them if you’re just starting out.
  6. Rotate between positions – It’s important to rotate between positions during a match, as this will give you more opportunities to score goals and defend against opponents.
  7. Don’t go ball chasing – Ball chasing can be tempting, but it’s usually not worth it as it leaves your team vulnerable at the back post while you’re away from goal trying to get the ball back.
  8. Save your boost for the right moments – Boost is a valuable resource in Rocket League, so make sure you use it wisely by saving it for when it really matters!
  9. Give yourself some slack – Don’t be too hard on yourself when learning how to play Rocket League – everyone makes mistakes and that’s part of the learning process!
  10. Defend from the back post – When defending, try to stay near the back post as this will give you more time and space when an opponent is attacking from up close or from afar!

These tips should help get any beginner off on the right foot in Rocket League! Good luck out there!

Welcome toAva!

You seem to have come from gamerabble.com or academy.gamerabble.com!

And while you may be a bit confused, it is true. Gamerabble.com and Academy.gamerabble.com are gone :-(

Hopefully you can find some help with Ava, our Ai Gaming Companion. Right now she’s mostly focused on Minecraft, but you can probably get what you need from The Generalist.

You’ll be surprised at just how helpful she can be.

If you still want human, 1 on 1 coaching, check out our Discord as our most active coaches are still lurking about.

But first, give Ava a try!
